Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

1. Legal Identity

Opportify, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Opportify", "we", "us", or "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with applicable law, including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Opportify primarily processes personal information in the context of business relationships and services provided to organizations. This notice applies to personal information of California residents who interact with Opportify directly.

2. Your Rights Under the CPRA

California residents have the following rights under the CPRA:

  • Right to Opt-Out: You have the right to direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information at any time. Once you opt out, we will not sell or share your personal information unless you later provide authorization for us to do so.
  • Right to Know: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights under the CPRA.
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: To the extent we collect sensitive personal information (as defined under CPRA), you have the right to direct us to limit its use and disclosure to only what is necessary to provide the requested services.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision-Making: To the extent Opportify makes automated decisions that have a significant effect on you, you may have the right to opt out. Where Opportify acts as a service provider processing data on behalf of a business customer, this right should be exercised directly with that business customer.

3. Sell / Share Disclosure

Opportify does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Where required by applicable law, Opportify may recognize browser-based privacy signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

4. Categories of Personal Information

Opportify collects the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers (name, email address, IP address)
  • Internet or network activity information
  • Device and browser characteristics
  • Commercial information related to transactions
  • Professional or employment-related information

5. Opt-Out Request Methods

To exercise your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, you can submit a request through the following methods:

5.1 Email Request

To submit an opt-out request, send an email to legal@opportify.ai with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" and include your full name and the email address associated with your account or interaction with Opportify.

5.2 Email

Send an email to legal@opportify.ai with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Personal Information." Please include your full name, email address associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

5.3 Callback (by arrangement)

To submit a request by phone, please contact us via email at legal@opportify.ai and we will arrange a callback during business hours. We do not currently operate a dedicated inbound phone line for privacy requests.

6. Identity Verification

We may request additional information necessary to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. This is to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or deletion.

7. Response Timeline

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by CCPA/CPRA. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with prior notice.

8. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To do so, you must provide the authorized agent with written permission to submit the request and verify your own identity directly with us.

9. Fraud Prevention Service Provider Exemption

Opportify acts as a service provider under CCPA/CPRA when processing fraud prevention data on behalf of our customers. This processing is performed solely to provide contracted services and does not constitute a sale or sharing of personal information. Categories of data collected for fraud prevention include identifiers, device characteristics, internet activity data, and behavioral signals.

  • Is not sold to any third party
  • Is not shared for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Is not used for any purpose other than providing fraud detection services to our customers
  • Falls under the "service provider" exemption to CCPA's "Do Not Sell" provisions
